Centenary logos
The Girl Guides WA Centenary logo depicts the famous Western Australian black swan in four colours – the traditional royal blue of Girl Guides, the yellow of the bright WA sunshine (and also on our logo), the green of the environment and the sustainability of our organisation, and pink – just for fun! The swan is swimming on the blue waters of our iconic Swan River.
Also featured in the Centenary logo is our Centenary slogan: Prepared for the Future. This slogan references the past with its traditional Scout/Guide motto, ‘Be Prepared.’ It also refers to the bright and resilient future of our amazing organisation, and the way we have been able to stay relevant to girls and women throughout our 100 years of history.
