The WA Trefoil Guild Committee launched the Remarkable Women project in 2014.
This project will celebrate our 100 years of Guiding through the lives of some of the truly remarkable women who have been instrumental in bringing Guiding to its present place in the community.
Some of the women included here have been recognised by many for their dedication, but there are many others who have been quiet achievers. Some were Leaders in the early days of Guiding while others are continuing to leave their footprints in Guiding’s history today.
By sharing their stories with you here we wish to emphasise the dedication of these remarkable women. Each month, new women will be added to this list. To read their stories, please use the links below.

I am really enjoying reading this suite.bi worked with Miss Florence Couper at Elder Smith Goldsbrough Mort Limited. I hope you will not be offended when I mention the correct spelling of her family name. It is definitely Couper. She was my supervisor for 3 years and had been in the GIS along with Kath Baird and others. Fond memories of a wonderful lady. Guiding also played a big part of my life and I hope to rejoin Trefoil soon now I have more time.
kind regards
Thanks and I will correct that spelling!
