GEM100: Guiding Every Moment

CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF GIRL GUIDING IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Sunday 28 June –  Forrest Place Perth City

9.30am – 2.30pmGEM

100 Years and Beyond…

This is the big one! The big, final, exciting closing event to be held on the day Girl Guides formed 100 years ago in 1915.

We will gather in Forrest Place from 9am for a 9.30am opening and will gather again at around 2pm for our special closing.  An exact timetable will be available when applications close on 8 May.

The cost will be $15 per participant, adults and children alike.  You are encouraged to include parents in our celebrations especially when you need extra adults. If these parents wish to receive the handouts (cupcakes, balloons, etc) then they will need to pay. If they are coming along simply to supervise girls then of course there is no cost. Leaders need to bring with them current details for their girls including any medical or health requirements and contact number for parent or guardian (as in the Youth Activity Consent Form).

We are expecting special visitors for the day, including our Chief Commissioner. Please encourage all members to join in our birthday party and make it one of our special memories of Girl Guiding in Western Australia.

This is our big birthday party and we want as many members of GGWA in the city as possible – let’s turn Perth City blue and gold!
